SDCC Returning Registration to be held October 28

by Transmute Jun

For many con attendees, San Diego Comic Con (SDCC) is the highlight of the year. 2017 SDCC attendees have eagerly been awaiting the date for returning registration (formerly known as pre-registration), when people who attended on a paid badge last year have an opportunity to register for next year. Comic Con International (CCI) has finally announced that returning registration for SDCC 2018 will be held on Saturday, October 28th 2017, at 9 am Pacific time.

To check your eligibility for returning registration, login to your CCI Member ID account. Next to your name at the top (and also under the ‘Registration Info’ tab) you should see the green words OK CCI ’18 Paid Attendee Return Reg.

The 2018 con will be held from July 19-22, 2018, with Preview Night to be held on July 18. Badge costs this year are up slightly from last year, with Thursday, Friday and Saturday badges costing $63 each, Sunday badges costing $42, and Preview Night badges (which can only be purchased if all 4 other days are also purchased) costing $45.This means that getting all 4 days of badges will cost $231, while all 4 days plus Preview Night will cost $276.

As always, children 12 and under are free, while Juniors (ages 13-17), military, and seniors (ages 60+) pay half price.

If you did not attend SDCC 2017, or are otherwise ineligible for returning registration, CCI will sell the remaining SDCC 2018 badges at open registration in the spring.
