Next Week in TV 10/22: Stranger Things and The Walking Dead Return!

By Mario Wario, Alyssa, & DRWHO42,

Uh-oh! Did you hear that? Please tell us you did, because another week of television is about to hit us hard. And so far, October keeps on spoiling us with its greatest hits. Trust us, for this week, it won’t be just a bunch of ‘hocus pocus.’

For instance, it is time to get ready zombie fans, because AMC’s The Walking Dead is striking back for some more human/zombie fun. This will be its eighth season with the first episode being the 100th overall, which is a major milestone for any TV franchise. Very good to see! But we better not forget The Talking Dead and Comic Book Men, since both are returning for a seventh time. That is something to cheer about, too. Meanwhile, a new episode of Outlander (STARZ) will have a special 75-minute episode, that should please the fans greatly. That two-week break is almost done, so hang in there!

Over on Netflix, the second season of Stranger Things will be hitting that streaming service very soon. So, here at the blog, we are pretty sure fans of this series will be either skipping work or not going to school to watch the whole thing. Now, Blindspot, starring Jaimie Alexander, will be having its third season premiere on NBC. We must say, it is good to see her back in action, which means Asgard is fine for now. Just hopefully Thor can stay out of trouble in the meantime. By the way, if you like baseball, the World Series on FOX begins this Tuesday with the first two games of this best of seven series being in Los Angeles. The last time the Fall Classic was in LA, the year was 1988. But as with any major sporting event shown on TV, that network’s nightly schedule during that time will be different for a little bit.

Channel Zero (SYFY) is ending its second season on the twenty-fifth of this month, along with a few shows, too, throughout the week. As always, please do look at the list down below to see the times and dates of each TV series, that is ending, returning and debuting for the first time.
