So I just watched the promo and I think I'll like her.   I like that she is quirky and a little more brass than your typical companions.   That is one of the things I loved about Donna (although I did hate her at first).

I am excited about the new companion, though I really liked Clara. I still don't understand her storyline, though. I like that Bill will be questioning the design of the aliens; how will they explain all those choices made decades ago in modern terms. Love it!

I always felt like Clara's story-line ended with the 11th doctor and their was no reason to keep her around.
